Love 'em or Leave 'em

Yesterday the entire family participated in the Love 'em or Leave 'em Valentines Day Dash at Green Lake. Jeff was super speedy as usual, running the 5k in 22min and 53secs. Mom and I had fun walking the course... thankfully I can still comfortably walk 3 miles. And the big winner of the day was Mason who rocked the kids dash. While he was a little apprehensive at first, when it was time to start he was a champ! He ran super hard the entire time and said after the race that it was the "perfect distance". We are already looking forward to the next family event!
A shout out to Papa Ron who came out and supported us. We were so happy you were there!

33 Weeks
I am 33.5 weeks. Translation: Super Uncomfortable. Two days ago I almost fell over trying to put on my shoes. I am NOT kidding! While it was frustrating in the moment, I was able to quickly laugh it off. Oh well, I know it is all worth it. :) The crib and changing table arrived this week and the nursery is starting to look super cute. I can't wait to decorate it!

Earlier this afternoon Mason's 1st grade class had their Friendship Celebration. The Class Photographer, aka Jeff, was there and took some cute pics. The celebration was a hit - cookie decorating, tattoos, valentine's day art and much more. The kids were definitely hyped up on sugar (Jeff caught one kid eating a ton of the cookie decorations when he thought no one was looking), but they had a great time. Mason gave out star wars valentines. The most talked about valentines were from Helen, she gave out Fun Dip!

Like sands through the hourglass...
... so are the days of our lives. I love that line. Only because it is from my all time favorite trashy daytime tv show and I am jealous of those who get to watch it only a daily basis. The funny thing is, I can watch Days of Our Lives twice a year and I know exactly what's going on. Unlike real life, Soap time is so slow.
Our life is moving at a rapid pace. Mason is in first grade and enjoying every second of it. He has grown up so much over the past year. We love him so much and cherish every second we have together! And he is SUPER excited to be a big brother. Little Baby Girl Bellamy will be arriving in 7 weeks. As I type this blog Jeff is painting the nursery. God love him! He has been working his tail off for the last 4 days getting her room ready. The room used to be an office, but tomorrow the furniture will arrive and it will officially be a nursery.
I decided I would start a blog to highlight all of our life experiences and share them with our family and friends. We love you all and hope you enjoy the updates!
