Last Thursday Mason and Jeff celebrated the 100 Years of Scouting by entering the Father/Son cake decorating contest. They had so much fun decorating the cake! Mason art directed the entire thing. He and I definitely share the same passion for sprinkles -- I think he used up almost the entire bottle!
The first year of Cub Scouts has been a great experience for Mason. Over the past six months we have gone on many "go-see-its" (aka field trips), earned a lot of badges and have met a lot of new friends. After the cake decorating contest there was an awards ceremony where Mason earned his Tiger cub badge -- big accomplishment! We are so proud of him! He is really looking forward this summer where he will be going to a couple boy scout day camps. Being 6 is fun!
